To perform our job properly, it will be necessary to obtain some personal details. These details are kept for treatment purposes only and will never be shared with any marketing or other agency. We will ask you to sign a consent form to allow treatment and to acknowledge our terms and conditions for such treatment. We are required to keep records for insurance and for tax purposes. We will only release data to legal or medical authorities in accordance with the law. All information is kept under lock and key and is only seen by the therapist. Our insurance requires us to keep your records for 6 years after which we destroy those records. We do not keep client data on any electronic device. Enquiries on the contact us page of this website are kept solely for the purpose of replying to your enquiry. If at any time you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact us to have the matter investigated. If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office https://ico.org.uk/ You have a right to see what information is being held about you. This information is available on request. There is no fee for this.
During the consultation we will need to take a detailed medical history in order to give you the very best tailored, safe and effective treatment. We believe it is absolutely essential that our client's can be confident that their personal information remains strictly private, confidential and safe.
Treatment of Children Parental/ Guardian consent will be required whenever we have to collect personal information from children.
